Service Description
For longer voyages or special trips, we’ll offer the option to have a veterinary surgeon join you on board as part of your crew. This non‑emergency, welfare‑focused service provides continuous, on‑the‑water support with day‑to‑day pet care, preventative health planning and practical advice tailored to your yacht, route and animals. The aim is simple: quieter minds for you, and safer, kinder journeys for the pets who sail with you.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments are reserved through online booking on The Sailing Pets website. By default, payment is taken securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout via Wix to confirm your booking. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer/Wise, please select the manual payment option at booking; you will receive an email with payment details, and payment must be completed within 2 hours or the slot may be released. You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time at no additional charge. Any cancellation, regardless of when it is made, will receive a 50% refund of the consultation fee; the remaining 50% is retained to cover administration and the reserved time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment cannot be rescheduled free of charge and are treated as cancellations under the above terms. If I need to cancel or reschedule (for example due to connectivity issues or emergency veterinary commitments), you will be offered an alternative time as soon as possible or a full refund of any fees already paid.
